Assignment objectives are defined and an ideal candidate profile is developed. At the same time, Amrop creates communications materials which describe the opportunity and the firm for potential candidates.

Contextual Intelligence
Amrop researchers in local markets around the world conduct background analysis to support the search. Using Amrop networked structure, they quickly gain additional insight and perspective to fast-changing markets and candidates’ wants and needs.

Search Strategy
A specific search universe is drawn up and agreed with the client, often calling on consultant’s contextual experience and creativity. This is a critical step because it defines search direction.


Initial Contact
Potential candidates are thoroughly screened, their qualifications are examined, past performance is verified, motivation and personality are assessed and, where appropriate, strengths and weaknesses are appraised.

Throughout the search process, the client is kept informed of progress and findings. A long list of qualified candidates together with brief profiles is usually presented to the client along with recommendations for those who best meet the specifications. Aside from comprehensive candidate reports, market reaction is also constantly reported to the client.

Candidate Meetings
Candidates who are initialy motivated and meet the requirements of the Context Brief are being interviewed. During the meetings, candidates’ suitability and motivation to continue are established.
